In-game name:
slipcor
Location & Age:
I live in (West) Germany and I am 28 yrs old.
Previous Bans (Includes other servers):
I never was banned. I think I was muted while we were testing Mod permissions, but I was never really punished as I never did anything against the rules. I am not going to change that behaviour.
Referral(s):
AwkwardJoe - he knows me for weeks - if not months.
Reason you should be accepted:
tl;dr: I am an active and helpful player. I have been active as mod and pseudo SysAdmin and I was most active player on my recent servers.
I keep playing minecraft since 1.5 and got to know the world of multiplayer after learning the basics. Even more than single player, I got very much addicted to it. Several times, I had my multiplayer servers shut down/crashed, being pushed back to SSP, I just couldn't stand it.
So this time I'm looking for a reliable and well moderated server. The website proves very much, that the people in charge here know what they are doing. The wiki is nice, IRC chat is not naturally to most server admins, the white list adds some control over letting people in or not, the plugins (self coded? hell yeah!) sound very interesting, they seem to add depth to the game, which I will enjoy very much. I also want to stress the fact that I like the almost every day patches. This keeps my hope up there are server admins that really care about their servers. Every former admin lost interest in it - I think because of update issues...
At last, I'm sure that I will be a positive addition to the community. I always gave my best to be helpful, respectful and so on to other people. I can not recall any serious complaints about that, whether I was mod or not. Of course I started as normal user on every server, but (just at the time the server became quiet because up updates and whatnot) I became mod and never had anyone seriously being dissatisfied with my work.
How did you hear about Herocraft?:
AwkwardJoe found it and convinced me to join it. The fact that he stuck to it ever since he mentioned it convinced me to give it a look, here I am!
Have you voted for Herocraft (No? Click here)?:
Yes, while reading the rules. I clicked again while copying this
Additional Info:
During my mod activity I got to know things like bigbrother, woodblock, worldedit. Im not an expert yet, but if help was needed I could jump in.
I talked about the web page earlier. Im not talking as a user, but as a designer and programmer. I have my own homepage with some php programming going on and earned some money with web design. I really like the way it is programmed.
