Bug Weird chat channel bug

So after a friend of mine joined the chat channel Obl(Oblivion) it started bugging out, people couldn't see each others typing in chat.
Now we got Neo to remake the chat and apparently it got fixed, for everyone except me. People can talk as normal but I can't see anyone talking - and vise versa.

I feel so lonely now

Apparently this is happening for me in all private chats except /ch ba.
What's going on?

it could be the spam prevention,

it happens when you say 3 messages - then you can't talk for a few seconds.. could it be that?

No.

It may be a client side bug. I haven't encountered this problem before.

Yeah, this keeps happening to me and random people in the channel, and then fixes itself later.
Insanely annoying when you log on - unable to communicate with anyone for a few hours to a day..
