Suggestion We need a new lottery plugin

Either that or twistedwrath is being blessed by the overlords......

Even with the new randomized lottery I constantly see previous winners keep winning the lottery. It is rare to me when I see a newer player win the lottery and TwistedWrath has one 3 in a row and 4 out of the last 10.

A simple fix how about adding a cooldown to winning the lottery like you can only win once every day or once every 2 days.

The lottery plugin is open-source, feel free to change it and write a better one.

You misunderstand how "random" works. This is as random as it gets without imposing some things such as can't win twice in a row, etc.

Which takes away the random.

It's not a lottery plugin anyhow, it's a raffle plugin.
Lotteries very rarely have winners. Raffles always have a winner.
If you want a better chance to win then buy more tickets, pray to your deity or do a raffle dance.

Honestly though the plugin is an open plugin and you can easily see there is no witch craft. It's a raffle, for each ticket you buy you get 1 chance to win. If you buy 10 tickets and the total tickets bought are 100 then you have a 10% chance to win and a 90% chance to lose. I have NEVER won the raffle even though I have bought almost 100 tickets since it's started because it's a chance based plugin
Restricting who can join the raffle is a ridiculous thing to ask for if you ask me as they pay the same price and have the same chance as everyone else to win.
