Dont use the preset layer styles from the swatches D:

Also if you're doing that animation in photoshop (which it looks like you are), on the last frame, tweak it 5 frames to first frame, unlike 5 frames to next frame (what you did for the light). And I suggest you go down to 2-3 frames for the light transitioning, it's too slow.
