The famous Braavos Casino and Game Hall is reopening on Shrine as the Volantis Casino and Game Hall. Shrine was chosen due to constant delays on Haven for spawn plots. We now have no restriction of space since we need not worry about PvP, and money is transferred between servers. All you need to do is bring yourself!

Take the east road out of spawn, down the hill, then follow the casino road south. Groupteleports will be available when games are in play.

These slots are located on the bottom floor of the casino. They are a little different than my other designs. It uses Redstone lamps, and very few pistons for a lag free experience!

How to Play:​

You can bet either 1, 3, or 5 souls per spin. The amount you bet determines the number of 'lines' that you can win on. You simply place a Tiny Soul Shard, Small Soul Shard, or Small Soul Fragment into the appropriate dropper, depending on how many lines you wish to bet on.

You can win only if all three lamps are turned on in the middle row

Green Line: Small Soul Shard (3s)
You can win if three lamps light up in a horizontal row. Green AND white lines can win.

Blue Line: Small Soul Fragment (5s)
You can win if three lamps light up in a horizontal or diagonal row.

Please note that vertical lines do not win.

Prizes:​

Middle Line - 5s
Top or Bottom Line - 8s
Diagonal Line - 10s

The souls are dropped on top of the payment area. Beware of other players.

Notes:​

This game requires you to use physical Souls to play (Shards and Fragments). If you do not have any available, you may buy some from the Western Market at [-50-18] in the TD. We ask that you sell your souls back here as well, so we can continue to stock the slot machine for other player's enjoyment.

How to Play:​

Roulette is a rather simple game to play. A wheel and ball spin in opposite directions, and when the ball lands in a slot on the wheel, the corresponding number wins. The winning number also determines if bets made on Black, Red, Even or Odd win.

Volantis Roulette contains 28 numbers including 0 and 00.

Place your bets in the Casino Chat channel in the following format (alter it to match your bets):

<Your Name> bets: <souls> on <colour/number>, <colour/number>; <souls> on <colour/number>, <colour/number>, etc, Total <souls>.

Example:
Jonsoon bets: 50s on Black; 10s on Eeven; 5s on 4, 8, 11, 12, 17, 20, 22. Total: 100s

Then pay the game host your bet amount.

You may bet on any single number (0, 00, 1-26), Green, Even, Odd, Red or Black.

View the betting board while you play to view your bets.

The ball landed on Red 14, giving Jonsoon a payout of 20s, not a great round.

Jonsoon repeats his bet, this time it lands on Black 8, giving a payout of 265s!

How to Play:​

Place a Large Soul Fragment into the dispenser, and it will be exchanged for a unique lottery ticket. Keep this ticket safe, as if it wins, you must present it to win your prize.

If you do not have a Large Soul Fragment, you can buy one from the shop above the lottery terminal.

Rules:​

Please be warned: The lottery terminal only has 25 tickets to sell. If you try to purchase a ticket when there are no tickets to sell, it will still take your money and you will receive nothing. To combat this, a torch will light up when the terminal is out of tickets. Do not try to purchase a ticket when the torch is lit!

More tickets may be available for future draws if there is a good response to this game.

Payouts:​

There are 25 tickets per draw, and draws are done every Friday. The winning ticket will receive 75% of the prize pool, which is 150s if all 25 tickets are purchased.

I have slightly changed how the betting board is viewed. You no longer view my spreadsheet and see changes live. The spreadsheet is now published onto a page found here:http://goo.gl/y5OeeI.

Once I have finished inputting the bets, I will publish the page, and players can confirm their bets with me. This will cut down on me confirming each individual bet in game.

It has been reported to me that the machine is sometimes not giving a ticket when players insert their Large Soul. It appears to have happened once this week since I have one more Fragment than tickets sold. I added the person who this happened to to the draw, but they did not win.

There is literally no reason as to why this should be happening since I can attempt to break it purposely on creative with no issues. I have narrowed the issue down to times when there is excessive lag on the server and a redstone pulse does not properly send its signal to release the ticket. Until I have the time to redesign the terminal, I will be closing this form of lottery. I may do a different form anyway.

I am very sorry if anyone else was affected by this that I am unaware of, and I hope it does not ruin my reputation with you.
