Bug Villager Trading

While doing the farthest right trade with a Farmer to refresh all the trades, I get the message "The protection no longer exists!". The trades are not refreshed and there is no animation over the villager. Try it a few more times with no results. Try the second farthest right trade and nothing.

Edit: As I typed this, I saw the animation over the villager, some 2 minutes after I traded. Now the animation still has not stopped, even 5 minutes after the trade. I guess this is just related to server lag.
Not sure what that message means though. And no it is not from a death chest.

Well that's an interesting bug.
I know trades expire after 60-70, and they change up.. but I never heard of a villager essentially freezing. :\

I am trading fine with is now, but it is extremely delayed. I am pretty sure this is solely based on lag.

They added a new Server.jar , could that be affecting it?

That's what I am thinking. I commented on Kainzo's post about that mentioning a severe drop in crop growth, as well.

We do run backups around 2-3AM - but I wouldnt think this would cause that sort of lag.

It is also possible that this villager in question has been enlightened by the Testificate Liberation Organization. He is simply engaging in peaceful protest.

It was still happening all day. I have tried to trade with many other villagers. It just takes the villager a long time to figure out you just made a trade with them.

I think that might be the new Entity Activation Range - try standing literally on top of the villager.
