Basically what I want to know is if there is a way to view a /pe that no longer appears on the /pe list list. I made a PE and was offline when it was either answered or closed and I would like to know what became of it.

Viewing old /pe's for answer

You bet!
First do "/pe list closed" to get the petition number. Note that the default command shows 10 petitions and how many you have altogether. If you have 19 petitions you'll need to do "/pe list closed 19" to see the full list.
Then do "/pe view [pe number]"
