Reason for mute: In tour I was muted for saying: "Can I be whitelisted" Help: For asking a question I think
Your story: I was kinda trolling in tour and I will admit I've seen players say it as a joke all the time .-. I apologize
In help I asked a few questions about crafting stuff, LWCs and claiming structures and a bit after (Around 1-2 minutes) I was muted.

Well I was a bit hyper in O chat, I stopped when I was told to and was truly just joining the chat and I think this may have been why I wasconsidered to be muted. However those above instances are not related to my time in O chat.

EDIT: Angyles I'm not sure if it helps my case or not, but at the time of me saying it, no one was talking in tour chat, I was purely saying it for joke purposes in TS. Still not an excuse I know, but I did enjoy helping out new players so I hope this can be cleared in the future. Thanks for the reply as well haha wasn't all there last night >.<

My issue with this is that we have so many greylisted members who do the same thing, ask to be whitelisted. We tell them continually to follow the rules, do not ask, and then we have a veteran come in and do the same thing what kind of message are you sending them even if it is a joke?

I myself muted someone in Tour the other night for the same thing, it is asinine and something a member should not do.

I will find out from Barn which channels you are muted from, and find out the whole story....but I think we will keep the one in Tour active for awhile.

I do understand that but whether someone is talking in Tour or not in my opinion is moot. If we make allowances for that kind of behaviour people will think it is fine all the time. In this case it is a now or never situation. We allow it once, it needs to be allowed again. Guides and Proctors have a tough enough time trying to help newbies without having others in there trolling as well.

As I stated above I am going to leave the mute for now, but we can revisit it in the future.

I removed the mute in Tour. We expect our players ((Vets/Elites)) to behave better, especially since that channel is a newbie channel and many people there are not aware of all the rules yet.
