I have visited Canada twice this year, and I have to say I am NOT impressed with Tim Horton's. =(

I'm Canadian and I don't like hockey. Canada's hockey fan base is actually dwindling. We still have a lot of try hards and idiot fans, but for the most part, people just watch it to fit in around here. We have a local hockey rink (Town population 7000 or so) and in the past 40 years we've produced maybe 3 NHL players. We have a hockey museum that was recently built and is now going bankrupt. Anyways, Canada has produced lots of great hockey players, but we have other sport players too. We live in a land of ice and snow! It's really all we can do.

As for Quebec; I almost want them to divide into their own country! That way I can move there and leave Canada without having to go far. Quebec is just so much more fun than Ontario for me, not only cause wherever I go they prefer soccer to hockey, but because they're not as arrogant, or intolerant of everyone else.. They just want to be alone, rather than wanting to intrude and invade on everyone else. English Ontario folk, in my eyes, have always been too cocky about their language, sports and generally just have a massive ego that they really shouldn't. I grew up in an ignorant community though, it's probably different everywhere else :3[DOUBLEPOST=1346361727,1346361630][/DOUBLEPOST]And Tim Hortons is like a religion @Angyles. I was not a fan, I know many people love it but for me it was just meh. But you have to understand, I do live in So Cal, so I am used to either Coffee Bean or Starbucks.

Same can be said here in So Cal with Starbucks lol. Near my home we have a Starbucks in the parking lot, and then one in the grocery store. Both are always packed with people.

My mothers side comes from Newfoundland while my dad grew up here in Ontario and moved to Alberta for a while. Plus I have family everywhere in Canada, and I have family in the states.
