@Kainzo suggested to report it here, so I will do it.
It is not possible for players to sell their own shop region at the Trade District (Spawn Shops).
It's not possible to remove themselves from the region either.
The commands are disabled, and left clicking the property sign won't work either way.
I've tested my way through the commands and it appears that over the half of them are disabled or won't allow such an action.
/srm remove <regionname>*
/srm clear <regionname>*
/srm clearall
*Used a string to find out the region name, fyi.
Additionally: You cannot remove players you have added to the region before as well, since the commands are blocked.
It is only possible to extend the duration by right clicking the property sign.
This should be changed soon, it is annoying if you accidentally click on that sign, thinking you could sell your region this way, but buy it or extend the duration instead.
Let's put a clear line to this, no matter if this is a bug or intention, a staff member should clarify this.
