Unable to connect? Badlogin, end of stream AND no response

I got all three in a row, and I was just wondering if it's just me or what. Update related? I still have 1.7 active

Same problem here, i've had it for maybe 2-3 days and restarting minecraft works sometimes... But not right now

just got response code 500, unknown/bad login.

only 5 online, I think this isnt just us.

well I know I was having problems with the launcher earlier aswell, I couldnt even get past the login screen... And that was when i was at 1.7.3 this morning. I tried the broswer version and it updated and it worked, but the launcher still doesnt. It may be unrelated just saying

I don't know if I trust that malmenca I'm just not sure what's going on. Five are online but it seems those who updated and then went back to 1.7 have been made unable to connect

I did the update then downgrade earlier too, and got onto the server for an hour or so. I get mostly bad login, and end of stream.

I haven't updated at all and was one of the (5 or so) online a few minutes ago. Now no one can get on. It's sad and wonderful that at a little less than 48 hours playing on this server I am completely and utterly addicted to it.

I understand, this is a pretty awesome place I don't even really wanna mess with 1.8, I was gonna wait till we get it here haha

Upon checking minestatus, I've determined that this problem is occuring for many if not all servers, meaning the issue is likely with minecraft.net.

Seriously, most people have no more than 5 online right now.

I've got a Vanilla (Clean) 1.7.3 .minecraft folder that I do not distribute because it's illegal, but if you're CURIOUS about DETAILS then you can PM me on here.

You have the old launcher? The old one was failing for me so I downloaded the new one and put it in my applications and it worked fine.
