Tree leaf decay broken? or is this intended?

Description
When you chop all of the logs off a tree the leaf's are left floating i waited quite a wile near the trees and the leaf's did not decay

Reproducibility
Chop all of the logs off a tree.

Severity
Major: It could become a big problem if no one clears them away. and create a very messy server.

The leafs decay for me, it takes really long though. Try afking for like an hour.

Also make sure the leafs touch no other leafs that still have a tree, the leafs need to be completely seperated.

Right, there are a lot of reasons why it may not decay. We have custom-growth settings that tell the CPU to not spend much time on leaf-decay. You get more exp if you just clear the leaves
