Suggestion Transmute something for emeralds

Emeralds are next to impossible to obtain unless you have a merchant and it feels as though people either have endless emeralds or none at all, so i was thinking that there could be a transmute for emeralds. Not sure of the cost, maybe lapiz or something. Not an insanely high cost though, because emerald's value is only to towns, merchants and those who want named items.

That would work, especially because redstone blocks will be coming in somewhat soon (or so i have heard). The only problem is that as a result of redstone being so abundant, no one picks it up.
