It should notify you if you are tracked, like a message pops up saying "You feel like you are being watched." or something along those lines.

Yeahh, the more I think about it, the worse of an idea it seems. It sounded like a good idea at the time.

Do not agree point of track is to find them with out them knowing it is one of the few skills that is actually useful as a Ranger. Big steps for us is Track, Fire Arrow, Root and with 1.8 Fire Arrow flies a much shorter distance than your general shot and last I checked Root was broken. Barrage our lvl 50 skill is pretty much useless unless you use poison arrow + barrage and you are stuck in melee with multiple people and even then it is just meh. So Track and bow are about all we have left that is good.

Nah man rangers pwn hard in PVP when well aware of what's going on. Example: Ranger vs Thief. Ranger sees me coming, I see him so I'm all pumped to get a kill. Ranger uses poison arrow so not only do I slow up, but I'm hurt + getting hurt on my way to fight him. I get half way there and he hits me again. I get 10 blocks away, he uses root and burns me out with a fire arrow. Rangers are sick if your good with them. I wouldn't say over powered because if close combat classes get in close, your chances of winning are pretty slim (but oddly enough, it happens). If you have a steady eye, are aware that your in a pvp zone and play smart. I say a top notch pvp class.

Yes sir! I do strafe, but many people pick rangers because of there FPS (first person shooter) game history. And as such, they are talented at shooting and adjusting to someone evading there attacks. Rangers have a wide variety of attacks that if used correctly (witness) in various different combinations they can be a serious threat in the pvp genre.
