We've talked about this at length and now is the time for action.

What we have currently isn't working for me. I don't like playing on this server. So, I'm going to do something about it. Based on the feedback I'm going to make the following changes. If we don't end up using them then you can get someone else to configure this plugin. I won't play on a server I don't enjoy. That's not a threat. It's a fact. I really like some of the people on here, and I want to make this a server they will like playing on.

Currently it is too easy for raiders to raid and camp. The thing that frustrates me the most is that I've spent thousands of souls to build a town and it does not help me. That is going to change.

Currently it is too hard to do sieges with towns. That is also going to change.

- Arrowturrets will not fire unless they can see you
- Towns will be able to build an extra 2 arrow turrets
- Arrowturrets will do 15% damage instead of 25%
- Arrowturrets will have a minimum distance between them
- Poison will not expire once you leave town. It just will stop damaging you while you are out of town. Poison expires every 15 minutes.
- Poison will go up in cost the longer it is on (and go down in cost the longer it is off)
- Poison now announces to all people in town that it is active
- There will be a new structure that allows raiders to disable protections of houses/inns/barracks after a warmup time
- There will be an automatic anti-camp poison that activates for free if a town member dies in town to enemies 3 times quickly without killing anyone. This poison does not wait for you to be in combat to take effect.
- All structures in outposts will get high salvage value so that you can set up cannons and tear them down when you log out for little cost
- Siegecannons' rate of fire will be increased

Most of these changes are ones discussed and agreed upon from the community. I'm open to alternatives but not cryhards.

@Multitallented what are you refering to when you say "There will be a new structure that allows raiders to disable protections of houses/inns/barracks after a warmup time" Do you mean the ANTI-Pvp protection, the Block Protection, what protection do you mean?

@Multitallented also, what about the damage reduction on turrets (down to 15%) and the minimum distance between turrets that we agreed on? If the number of turrets go up I feel these changes are fair forcing town owners to protect the entire town with turrets not create a 100% safe super zone that 4 turrets are guarding.

Secondly I'm also skeptical on the automatic anti-camp feature, what would prevent a town from feeding 3 kills and getting the poison for free when there is an option right there.

Finally, are we using my numbers from the previous post, town war (and my suggestions on it can still be discussed) But the balance numbers on the other points where met with positive response.

  • Lwc's and PVP free zones provide enough safety considering this is PVP
  • Until Pvp and PVE are merged (like multi said in a previous thread) there should only be 1 Pvp safe zone in a town
  • The large amount of arrow turrets and the lethality of poison seems a little too much. Like I've said many times, ways to force raiders to leave on a PVP should NOT BE A THING or be very weak until these two server populations are combined

The house would lose all of it's protections. The general town protection would still be in effect.

What irish said was not rude or "shitting" on your post, he stated what he felt was the solution pretty clearly.

I'm working with people who want to improve the server. I am implementing suggestions that I don't fully agree with. I'm putting in things to help pvp too. When I get 65, I'll be raiding and killing too. I don't know who the fuck you are, but I don't take you seriously either so whatever.

If someone dies, runs back from the graveyard, dies again, runs back from the graveyard, and dies a third time within 30 minutes, then it's working as intended. If you want a prolonged fight, then siege the town.

You can stay if you want to help make the server a better place. If you're just going to qq then gtfo. You've been crying the same tune for so long your room is going to flood. It's not helpful
