We've talked about this at length and now is the time for action.
What we have currently isn't working for me. I don't like playing on this server. So, I'm going to do something about it. Based on the feedback I'm going to make the following changes. If we don't end up using them then you can get someone else to configure this plugin. I won't play on a server I don't enjoy. That's not a threat. It's a fact. I really like some of the people on here, and I want to make this a server they will like playing on.
Currently it is too easy for raiders to raid and camp. The thing that frustrates me the most is that I've spent thousands of souls to build a town and it does not help me. That is going to change.
Currently it is too hard to do sieges with towns. That is also going to change.
- Arrowturrets will not fire unless they can see you
- Towns will be able to build an extra 2 arrow turrets
- Arrowturrets will do 15% damage instead of 25%
- Arrowturrets will have a minimum distance between them
- Poison will not expire once you leave town. It just will stop damaging you while you are out of town. Poison expires every 15 minutes.
- Poison will go up in cost the longer it is on (and go down in cost the longer it is off)
- Poison now announces to all people in town that it is active
- There will be a new structure that allows raiders to disable protections of houses/inns/barracks after a warmup time
- There will be an automatic anti-camp poison that activates for free if a town member dies in town to enemies 3 times quickly without killing anyone. This poison does not wait for you to be in combat to take effect.
- All structures in outposts will get high salvage value so that you can set up cannons and tear them down when you log out for little cost
- Siegecannons' rate of fire will be increased
Most of these changes are ones discussed and agreed upon from the community. I'm open to alternatives but not cryhards.
