Suggestion town taxes

So town taxes are charged weekly to keep your regions and stuff right? So i currently see no reason for there to be taxes on a CHARTERED town. chartered towns have no regions yet, and i think it's absurd that there should be taxes on that. yes, you're all reading this and saying "oh hes just raging because he has to pay taxes". but think about it, why would a town that doesnt actually exist have to pay taxes to keep itself there?

On a towny server that I play on, I know a lot of people set the town taxes really high to make tons money. I don't think there should be taxes.

The towns have to pay money, not the town members. Town members here only pay taxes if they are required by the town.

I know. But he's talking abut making citizens auto paying taxes... I think.

No. When the town is just chartered with out a region, it's still costing 400s per week to the town to stay as a charter. He doesn't like that.

If there must be taxes on a chartered town, can I suggest to lower it by half at least?
