Town owners cannot leave

Every time me, HolyRane, and greyP attempt to leave our town it says "You must select a new owner before leaving town". We have tried /town leave, /leave town, and /http leave. We have also tried to demote ourselves and to demote each other. When we try that, it says "Are you sure you are doing that right?".

We asked Xanipher what was going on and she said that she thinks the only person who can demote us is the original town founder, which would be Kaosi, who left. So we do not have an original founder in the town and the owners have no way to step down.

Pretty big http glitch. We would very much like to leave town, so could you please somehow demote/kick us out of town if the error cannot be quickly fixed? Thanks =D

We promoted other people to owner to see if the town just needed a certain number of owners at one time, but that did not work.

However HolyRane just had an idea looking through the commands and we did /town setrank wolfgang784 veteran which allows us to demote ourselves and leave. Problem solved, but it took quite a roundabout way.

@wolfgang784 - yah I think for the moment that's the only way to do it. I'll see about getting it switched around though so it doesn't need so many commands to get done.

Is the town completely bugged now to the point that it has no owner?

It still has several owners left, but the original founder is not there. Does the original founder have perms to demote owners? If so, that status should be able to be passed on.
