Tough Day on HC

It was going great, until I died in my mines. Okay, I can live with that even though my bed had been removed so I spawned in Zeal. So I march my ass back to my outpost and started going down the ladder. Just as I remembered I didn't finish the ladder all the way to the bottom I fall and die again! So I kissed my iron goodbye and went to study.

It's all part of the fun right?
Be back on tomorrow though. Ahaha

i had one of these days to.

Convinced Darroes to come back on to go see the sanctum map with me finally. He logs in stuck in his old town, unable to get out because he has no build privileges and his spawn and recall are in that town, we finally get a mod to save him, we walk all the way to Zeal, go into the nexus and BOOM, i die upon entering sanctum and am warped back to my bed in zeal with xp loss, i try it again, same thing happens, mean while Darroes keeps crashing half way to our old town repeatedly. He eventually fixes that problem and just barely hits a lava patch and dies instantly and guess were he spawned? Same place he started off.. stuck in his old town.

trip down memory lane=ruined.

Is Sanctum map messed up? how strange... Anyone able to get in fine?

Just tried sanctum... no deaths...

I think he may of been talking about a long time ago. Just a guess though.

Everytime I go to Sanctum and I log to fix a glitch or just get off, you die when you get back on. And multiple times one of my friends have died a couple times for no reason without lagging or anything.

Same thing happened to me, was excited about going to the Sanctum map - after walking all the way from D101 to Nexus, I get there enter the portal and die instantly.

Then I'm back in D101, I thought It was prob just a rare glitch so I done the whole journey again and bang I'm back in D101... Very very annoying...

Got there eventually by destroying my bed in D101, I still died when reaching Sanctum but this time I spawned in Sanctum.

On a side note - the journey wasn't worth it - Vault 101 was months out-of-date, we spent so much time perfecting at the end of last map!

All that effort was for nothing, was a real shame to see the unfinished Vault 101.

So @Kainzo if you ever have the time, please at least try and recover the data from your RAID Hard Drive - maybe the old "HDD in the freezer" trick might work long enough for you to recover the old save.

Would really appreciate it.

Sanctum map was from 05/10/11, Zeal came up at 06/05/11 - it was the latest backup we could get.

We wont be able to get to the raid HDD's until we end our colohost subscription. It just isnt likely.
