Reasons: not really having been a fan of minecraft before I'm getting rapidly persuaded to like it by pretty much all my gamer friends. I didn't really realise all the stellar stuff that could be done with an MC server till one of my best mates (hyper_rat) showed me this server. Looks sick good and I've love to get in on the action. Me and hyper were hoping we could play together and maybe get a few other friends on the bandwagon (with your guys approval).

So a bit more about me. I'm a fresher doing Physics at Lancaster Uni and loving it. Always been a bit of a gamer, and after I bought my own PC to see me through uni I started getting into some higher end gaming.
Atm I'm mostly playing SC2 (any fellow terrans out there?) and a bit of Skyrim. As for minecraft I have only casually played it up till now (not really knowing about all the cool server mods and awesome stuff out there), but I am a huge fan of original and creative games, and minecraft does more than tick those boxes. I mean; your creating stuff, on a crazy cool mod created by other people, and its an RPG! Daaaaang does that sound cool.
So basically I'm loving the idea about your sever, and I hope I can check it out to see whether it lives up to my glorified expectations. I haven't got any spectacular screenshots or anything to show, but I'm hoping that the doodling skills I have picked up over the past uni term and a half will transfer across
TL;DR I'm a gamer, loving the creativity and awesomeness of minecraft and this server, and think I would be a decent addition to the community. Tom out.
