Tombstone not working

Hello there. I am aware that this topic has been posted before but that thread was not resolved so I am bringing it up again.
Although I have both a chest and a sign in my inventory the tombstone is not placed.
I hope this issue is resolved soon as I get very upset when I lose my stuff

If you get hit by a mob/player, or are in a region, tombstone will not drop.
If you die via drowning/hunger/falling, etc your tombstone will drop.

So on the deaths you don't need a chest, one appears...
When you need one, they don't. Sweeeeet.

A tombstone is a method to preserve items to not get lost via void/lava/fire/cactus etc. It does not offer LWC'd death chests. This is by design.

If you dont want to partake - do not carry a chest around. Very simple.

That would be so annoying, kill someone and oh wait locked chest. lol
