Thief - Pickpocket?

Okay, so I know many of you would be extremely pissed if thieves had the ability to steal cash, well, what if :
Active for 10 seconds, 5 minute cooldown.
Cost: 5c, and 60% mana.
Description: While active, when a player is killed from behind, the user has a 40% chance to gain 1%-5% of the victim's total coins.

I know this would be difficult to code, and that it would probably be extremely glitchy, but it's just an idea, to make thieves, into actual thieves.

Hah, in my humble opinion, that's too nerfy. 20-30 second duration, no coin cost to activate, and maybe have it apply even if the victim wasn't killed from behind. Only if thieves get item-stealing capabilities would I prefer to see the original suggestion. Thieves should be able to steal stuff, for heaven's sakes. It's what they do.

I just thought all that because people would be pissed if all of a sudden they're killed and lose their cash. For item stealing, however, definitely no sorts of weapons, or food, due to obvious combat exploits, but item stealing would be nice.
Either the item the victim is holding, or a random item in their inventory? That would be cool, but imagine how much it would suck to be carrying a stack of gold to sell, and then losing it.
If thieves were to steal items, then obviously death is not required, and maybe the victim get's a notification?

i think being able to steal a random item from someone inv would be a great skill. idk if this is codeable, but as a notification, perhaps a clinking of coins when it is used? that would be awesome!

also the random item would be like 1 space in their inv. so if somebody has an inv full of stacks of iron, then you will get a stack of iron, but if they are just carrying a sword, ur much less likely to get anything. idk, just my thoughts :)

A new noise wouldn't be codeable, as that would require a new sound file in the jar. When I thought stealing from inv, I thought it over, and if it's a stack, maybe 1 item off of it, to 32 items off of it? Like 1-10 = 60%, 11-27 = 30%, 28-32=10%? That's actually pretty complicated. I don't know how to code, so I don't know how that would work, but whatever. If it was any space in the inventory, then that would be too weak, as the skill wouldn't be as effective, due to the numerous empty spaces you would usually see.
