Reason for ban: Griefing
Your story: At 7:55 eastern time I had items from a chest placed by me, stolen and in tour chat I accused this person of griefing clearly. At the time of writing this I haveforgotten the name of said griefer. after this time, only one or two minutes after, my internet-failed and I left to take a break from my things being stolen with nothing to do about it. I was not concerned with my things stolen. I logged in at 7:59 pm eastern time and the server said and currently says "disconnected by server Griefing - hc.to/appeal" So I am unaware of who reported me and caused me to be banned. I have only recently joined the server and I had no intention of griefing as I was playing. I could be guilty of griefing by some account since I have played on the server but I disagree that I had griefed the person I accused of griefing me. If it is at all possible to obtain the records of chat at this time. I have recently been whitelisted to the server and I would like to continue to the fun I have been having, If my appeal is declined then I will politely stop playing the server. I thank you for reading my Appeal no matter what judgement you pass on to me.

I banned you because there were quite a few block modifications done by you in a town on Greyson. Specifically block removals (the town looked pretty griefed after 1 day), not that you did all the griefing, just from what I rolled back on Greyson, you did a lot to that one town.

If you can explain me the reason for that, then please do (I don't want to be banning legitimate players who were mistakenly banned for griefing as we do have a strict no-griefing rule in Greyson), or you can wait 3 days to be unbanned.

First I would like to thank you again for being understanding about this. I can very well explain my large amount of block breaking. Might I first point out that this town was founded in the current state of disrepair, founded by me and others and many people have helped make the town look nice, we have repaired walls and I crafted a small home and hidden my prized possessions in chests under beds and such. I made a friend with a name along the lines of demon hunter (and some numbers) and I was invited to stay in their home. the under portion of the town was complicatedly flooded so there was rework needed, my point in all of this is that this city is so close to spawn that I can not be blamed for all of its current state. but furthermore this person I befriended kept her things in a chest in plain sight and people just walked in to take stuff and we were all too low level to pvp so I ended up just blocking the door with cobblestone. This doorway being the only way in and out lead me to break my way in and out and it was effective until my most recently griefing problem. I would rather leave cobblestone than have an iron door stolen. I had no idea that one could track blocks destroyed in an area so I understand the reasoning for the ban accusation.

This concludes this portion of my Appeal, anything below will simply be additional information I wish to state.
Again you have been a great moderator. I settled myself in this not so perfect area for a large community of mostly nice people. I suppose now that I have found myself whitelisted I should be off to other areas of the world where I might play in peace and not cause trouble for anyone but the reason I do play on the server is to have a community.
I perhaps will return to the town if I find no other friendly group elsewhere, if I am able at all at least.

It sounds as though you're talking about one single building, I recorded plenty of modifications to an entire town in greyson, are we talking about the same place?

I am not sure how much damage you are recording but nearly all of my modifications were around one building within greyson. I can only think the is an error with the records or that you simply have mistaken and or blame me for the disrepair of the town. I suppose I will wait the remaining days of my sentence which all I find myself guilty for is the same as every other 'community member' of the area. I say it this way because we did not know its name and were not part of the town officially, it was abandoned and destroyed by the same people who were trying to build it back up. I do hope nobody else is accused of griefing the town as it is simply the fate of the town with all sorts of greylisted and other players visiting cruel tho true.
