summonfood is not working

hello,

i'm a beguiler, and sometimes when I cast summonfood, I get nothing, but I do lose mana.
this isn't the most handy thing, because I like to sprint a lot.

I am level 19, I cast summonfood, and it just works well, mana decreases, recharge time, but it doesn't summon food.

I don't get a notification that there is an error or something, I am the right level for it.

Did you check your inventory?
If you are running while summoning the food, it will be on the ground. Usually you should not move so when it summoned you can pick it up.
