Bug Stuff disappearing

This has happened to multiple people that I know of, and it is really annoying, but sometimes when I die my chest disappears and today I lost my spear of kain which I really loved and now I can't get it back, can this pls be fixed soon?

I have experienced this quite a lot recently as well. When I die near chests or other blocks it might say that there's interference and that the items will drop rather than be placed in a chest. But what usually happens is that everything just disappears like above, with no chest, no items, nothing.
