Bug Strike Skill Glitch

I'm a Dragoon, this may not happen with other classes' Strike skills. When I use Strike on a mob, it does its initial damage fine and starts the DoT timer. However, no DoT occurs and melee attacks during this DoT time result in me hitting 5s. Tested on Creeper and Skele.

I'll see if I can get a picture or video later.
