Bug Stolen Christmas Presents gone from inventory?

Alright, I'll introduce the issue here.
Before the New Year, I purchased 20 Stolen Christmas Presents from another player. Then, having to go from PC for a few days, I left (after going to a safe location).
However, upon returning, I didn't have any presents left in my inventory. The problem is, I never sent a petition for someone to collect nor did I place it in a chest. That's why I suspect a bug or that someone collected it in a way which I do not know.
