Stamina Regeneration Bug (autosprint)

Often when I use autosprint, my stamina regeneration tends to bug out. Here's how it works:
Use autosprint, then run out of stamina (basically start walking as a result of less than three stamina left). Disable autosprint. At this point, your stamina regeneration is bugged* until you run without autosprint, then stop.

*bugged means that your stamina regeneration is at the same rate as if you were sprinting, regardless of whether you have autosprint toggled, or not.

I think this may happen regardless of whether you've drained your stamina or not when using autosprint.... I'll have to check when I get home.

Thanks,
Keache

Yeah... I kind of derped and put this in suggestions as well, sorry about that.

This isn't a bug. When you use Autosprint the game thinks that you are sprinting.... which you are. Sprinting = Slower regeneration.

No, you don't understand. Even when autosprint IS toggled off, regeneration is slower than normal (as if you were still sprinting)

because you're still telling the server you're sprinting. Stop using auto-sprint and you're fine. This is not a bug.

does your client still have it installed? We have no way of debugging client issues like this. If it's an issue in spout, let Afforess know and he'll take a look.

My client still has spout installed. I've posted this in the spout feedback post on this forum, but i've yet to hear back on the issue. I'll see if i can bring it to afforess's attention next time i see him.

Keep in mind that i made this thread ages ago. I'll do some more testing on it in a little bit, and give you as many details as possible

I was able to replicate it again. Here's the details that I could get:

When toggling autosprint while using/regaining stamina while running/walking - stamina regeneration is fine.

When you stand still and toggle autosprint - the stamina regeneration is slowed (as if you were sprinting, regardless of whether or not you have autosprint toggled on/off. You cannot rectify the slow unless you log out or sprint normally then stop).

yup. That's exactly what I thought was going on. So end result: it's client related. If you toggle sprint on, you tell the server that you're sprinting.

We won't be doing anything about this, sorry.
