Just to let you know, there is going to be a map wipe on January first. This means that any levels/money you have obtained and any structures built will be wiped. Come January 1st the server will update to 1.0.1 and have the new map. I suggest starting to play then so you don't have to start twice.

Maybe play a little and get familiar with our plugins in the mean time?
