Okay, so lately the North Road has been getting a lot of action between certain groups of players at certain times of the day. (Which I must say, I'm thrilled about!!) Though I have a problem.

People tell me different things about "Border/ Region jumping". Often, or almost every time there a large group vs. group. One is behind the region line and the other is not. Often, players will jump the line, shoot and arrow or fireball and then proceed back over the line.

My question is, is border/region jumping legal? Is it okay to jump in and out? Because in the last recent while there has been a large occurrence of this. I get both sides swearing it's legal and not legal. Rule?

The no-pvp townhall region? Or the region of just the town?

If it's just the town, I believe it is legal. Kudos to them for making a wall they can easily fight from!

Looking over the rules, only the no-pvp regions of townhalls is this illegal in. If that's the case, get the help of a mod+ or record it yourself and PM it to a mod+

EDIT: If it really is the town, try bringing more people. If they open the gates so they can get in, so can you. There are ways around this issue. Why is the region stopping you from killing them?

Then yeah that's totally illegal!

1.2.2 Attacking players in a no-pvp zone from a pvp zone.

This generally includes hopping in and out of it. Zeal is no exception. When OS raided Talos back when those other people ran it they abused the shit out of that region, so I got buddah hopper to come record it and they stopped. So if you just go like you normally do, and record them. THEN turn them in, you might see some results. The mod+ can't be everywhere at once!

EDIT: This might have an effect on this topic too:

2.5 Pvp is legal everywhere except inside Zeal and townhalls.

Not legal but people constantly abuse this when staff have their backs turned. However on the West and North Road there are little drop downs established to try and eliminate these actions. However some people always find a way around it.

Anyways, best you can do is invest in some recording software(usually free, like fraps) and just record yourself play sometimes. You never know, instead of recording something to report about, you might just have a kickass killing spree to show off! There really is no downside to recording yourself when you play. You will get more people punished who deserve it. Plus who knows what you might record!
