Bug Something wrong with my death...

Hey, so whenever I come onto the server, it says I have died on other people's screens once I get on, but it drops me off at the same spot I died at... I can break anything but it doesn't give me the item for it, I can't type or do anything command-ish, and I am invisible to other people and even hostile mobs. I am not sure what this glitch is, but I sure don't like it. (I can't even play the game because everything is glitched.) I don't have an experience level, I have a full food bar, I can't die from falling or drowning. If anyone has had this problem in the past, please share how you got out of it. I have tried to restart Minecraft, but to no prevail. When I log in, I always spawn at the point of my death and it shows on other people's screens that I die every time I log in. Please help! I can't even play the server because of the glitch!

I think its a problem with de syncing from the server as you die, then disconnecting before hitting respawn. :/

Yep. lumont gets this issue a lot. He might know some special trick to fix it.

When this happened, did your computer or client freeze up? If this is how it happened it's because your client is still processing your death. It's like time got slowed down right after you died. I don't understand the exact mechanics behind this issue, but the only solution I have found for this is waiting, check back in every once in a while. If it's still happening... I don't know what to tell you...

This usually happens to me, and I just wait it out.

deleting the player file "may" help, unsure.

This happened today to me when UltimateOptics killed me. I got killed but it didn't give me the titlescreen/respawn death screen, I just kept moving like I never died and nobody could see me. I just relogged and it was fixed.

Try doing /kill to yourself when you log in?
