Someone's Else's Place Near Mine

I was just wondering if there was a way to see if I can destroy this person's place near mine, It looks like it already got griefed multiple times and the owners don't look like their returning. I've left several signs around the area with no response. There's no signs with their names on it so I can't check to see if they get on or anything either.

Follow claim rules that are outlined at hc.to/rules, then once you own the structure you can do whatever you like with it.

I read them already and I wasn't sure if I had to like claim claim them like I would for a town or what. Cause I don't have enough for a town just yet nor am i ready to make one but ya. So can I still claim it as mine even though I'm not like claiming the land as part of my town or anything?

As stated here @ http://herocraftonline.com/wiki/Category:Rules#Claiming_a_structure , you can simply claim a structure( a building of sorts) with a sign stating your IGN, date, and intent to claim. Wait a week, then make a petition containing the coordinates of the structure. All you need is a sign, and the '/pe' command.

Ok cool, see when I read that it wasn't clear to me whether or not claiming it meant claiming it as land for your town or just claiming it as well claiming it. But ok thanks for the clarification, I've already had signs up just in case that was the case so ya. Again thanks for the help
