If it is a small room, whenever I do raid houses I tend to check obvious walls that could easily hide loot (Dirt walls are an obvious one, if it's a wall made of dirt, it's a wall made to be broken). Many people also leave obvious 'markers' for themselves in their homes, like passageways to secret rooms which are marked by 2 blocks in a cobblestone wall that are instead made of gravel, or etc. The raider who raided you might be like me: Raided by others so many times that you've tried everything in your power to hide your gear, so you know what people try to do to keep their stuff safe.
So it could be a legit find. I mean, if you put it in a small cobble wall in a small room, that is. If you put it in a cobble wall that was behind an obsidian layer with lava in between and piston traps as well as some water, a few random rooms to discourage raiders and also hidden under a bunch of wooden floorboards in a huge house, xray for sure.
Also make sure you don't hide stuff behind walls and then leave a hole in the wall nearby to remind yourself where it is. Dead giveaway.
