We can recommend one, I've tested it - the option works now all I need is someone who can make it happen!

Here's what I want for Herocraft.
  • Medievial theme.
  • "Weapon" like tools (save for Pickaxe)
  • "same" color types for most blocks as vanilla t-pack
  • (Clay is dark blue, not green/red etc)
  • MUST be 16x16 (no mod/patch required)
I could do a prize/donor thingy for this - the only issue I see is when 1.4 rolls around we'll have to update it yet again.

also what exactly are you looking at changing? just the weapon models and leave most of every thing else the same? Cause I can try to do one but i would like to know what you want specifically 1st

We basically want a more medieval theme without compromising the overall structure of color recognition.

Definitely want different weapons, etc. It's hard to do because texture packs are highly opinionated on what looks best and we're a bit limited on what we can change due to the 16x16 restriction.

well i can do different weapons, but the doors and such are a bit harder for me but doable i think.

so leave the dirt, stone cobble and stuff alone, but change weapons, doors, anything else changed/left alone?

ha, i wish, im a beginner when it comes to stuff like this, more of a cut/paste job with some minor editing (like my background contest submission) i havent figured out how to do the hi res ones yet, i tried.....did not work out well :eek:

I really like this idea, i would love to have a default texture pack for herocraft. That being said, i personally cant use one that isnt high res or HD or something. I just cant stand the way everything looks at 16x16 without something to make it a little cleaner.

I use Misa's 64x64 right now and using the one that was added last night is really hard lol.

ok, for inventory& items Ive changed:
armor, weapons, flint & steel, the diomand icon (inventory), pig saddle, book icon, map icon, wood and iron door icons.

For terrain i changed: TNT, crafting tables, forge, dispenser, torches, mob spawners, doors (wood & iron), wood trap doors, redstone torches, melons, restone lamps, decrative stone (aka circle stone).

I left the rest of the basic terrain the same as it is normally. I am going to test before I try to up load it @Kainzo.

If there is anything else you want me to change please tell me

You could always make ghasts invisible until they shoot.... Tis the only mob I know of with alpha levels enabled.

thats a coding issue, i have no idea how to do that myself....and thos things are such a pain in the butt as it is.....no lol

Oh, lets change the moon/sun to roundish instead of blocky.
Testing your pack also gives pretty bad UI errors. Note: DiamondSword is invis. May need some more play testing ;)

lol, yea well im not that great at this, all im doing is kinda a cut/paste job (actually that is exactly what im doing)

so im not sure how to fix some stuff, we may need to find someone who really knows what they are doing lol.[DOUBLEPOST=1349757438,1349757030][/DOUBLEPOST]what kind of errors?
