When you attack while sneaking you will lose your sneak, at least while attacking mobs.

i think that's supposed to happen. it would be quite silly if you would still be sneaking when they already saw you

Also, it would be completely overpowered for a Ninja to constantly be in a sneaking state due to backstab.
