Smiths and smithing armor mid-combat

Anybody think something should be done about smiths and armor smithing?


In this new age where armor means the difference between winning and losing, Warriors who have supirior armor can simply use their smith profession to repair their armor mid-combat. This makes Dragoons, Dreadknights, and Paladins nearly invincible.

I don't mind things staying the way they are with those who choose smith as their profession, however if that's the case then there should be new things added to Heroes that can defend against this.

We'll add a warmup to smithing - make it so they have to cast it.
