Slot Machine - Custom Built

Hey so I was wondering about a slot machine and how I think it would be really awesome to have on the server. I google'd it, youtube'd it, and such, but I could not find one online. I've always thought I was a decent "redstoner" but now I kind-of think I'm pretty good. I spent a lot of time designing this and setting it to be as fair as possible.

The way you play is you insert a diamond into the coin slot, (Must drop it to the left to work) then the 3 slots start turning. There are Iron blocks and Glass in the slots. To "win" this part of the machine, you need to get 3 Iron blocks. The lights above the slots will light up, and you will move on to the prize wheel. This will spin automatically. It will randomly select 1-3 prizes that you will receive. I did testing, and this is all up to luck. I provided a video of it working.

I was wondering if I could get a protected plot in/near spawn to build this on the server for users to play and win prizes. You saw the redstone in the back, it is pretty big, but I can condense it a little bit and move things around to use less space. Since this is a first draft it is much larger.

It's a great idea, and I like the idea of actually being able to watch the wheels spin, however if you did it more for the function than the ascetics, I must break your heart and say that with command blocks you can have a roulette type function work fairly easily. However, the wheel idea like yours is something new, and I like it.

Looks cool. Did you run some crash tests though? As in players throwing items other than diamonds down there. Will it still activate, or will it clog up the hopper? If you add more than 1 diamond will it mess up the contraption? I made a slot machine about a month ago and posted the video somewhere on the forums. I'd give you the link but I'm on my phone right now, so that's a nightmare.

All in all, yours looks great, but it looks rather bulky. Using ICs might be able to lessen the redstone.

I know command blocks would make this much better and easier but I built this so it is completely possible to do in game. I did do cheater tests. If someone throws anything besides diamond into the machine it does not spin. It would go through the contraption and not activate the machine but I would get whatever they threw so their loss.

I know this looks bulky but I can greatly condense it and make it prettier (Easier to see slot blocks) I didn't just because I posted this right when I got it up.

You wouldn't be able to build something of that size in a purchasable plot in spawn, the max size is 30x30. Check out hc.to/perks for residences. The max size for that would be 52x52. Other than that, it would need to be in a town.

I have a working slot machine in my casino in spawn. I think I fit it in a 10x6x20 space. I have closed it, though because I set up an automatic payment system, but still needs hoppers to complete it, which are currently disabled. Still hope that an admin will place them for me but I haven't had any luck so far.
