Sign Shops - Restricted Bread and Food?

From one of the patch updates: "ChestShops - restricted the selling of bread and food."

What are the details of this, if I may ask? I've got a couple of food signshops set up.

Judging from what I have heard when you sell the food it duplicates the item instead of moving from the chest to the inventory of the buyer. So in short it's duping.

Can somebody say what the restrictions are? I made a shroom soup chest this morning and the guy buying from it had random success in buying.

We're looking into reopening this - it was a temp fix for a possible exploit.
