No we do not update the server until the plugins are updated as well

If you do, you wont be able to log into Herocraft and play. We will be working on the update, the ETA is roughly 1-2 weeks. Tons of plugins need to be changed, its not a "copy and paste" thing.

If you want, you can use get.spout.org to connect to Herocraft or you can use this jar found here.
If you do need to roll back, this is a mod that allows you to change your MC to different versions:

When a minecraft update comes out, the server software called CraftBukkit that this server needs to run has to update. Once that's done, the staff has to check to make sure all the major plugins it uses works with the new versions of minecraft and Bukkit. This process takes days not hours.

Sometimes a few weeks if the update is coded badly requiring hotfixes
