Lore according to my Japanese history ( i am Hungarian English and Japanese on my mothers, step mothers and father's side [in that order])

<The Lore>A samurai is a heavily armored swordsman which wields a variety of swords and katana's (sometimes wakizashi's [Japanese short katana] but generally longer reach weapons) he has a considerable amount of stamina and an exceptional amount of willpower (health). The Samurai takes on contracts of murder whether straight up in the battle field or in an ambush. His excessive knowledge of swords gives him an advantage in physical abilities.

In this paragraph i have established that the samurai needs more health and better armor and maybe some skills. to put it this way the only op ability is blade grasp which has a potential to block 99% of damage AT level 55 if i remember correctly. And the only other op thing is his sword wielding ability like 12 damage with gold sword, no complaints there :D . BUT unfortunately i have found out that he is not balanced at all. he has potential in the right hands but he must e made a feasible foe for any adversary ( because it is one ), not an easy kill

YES i want samurai's to be a good survivable class but if you feel that these skills are completely OP feel free to adjust them accordingly, just making sure a low level samurai has a chance to survive like a low level wizard. (because all specs for caster except Necro and all warrior and rogue have a high chance to defeat samurai; also except healers)
LEAVE FEEDBACK PLEASE

I don't think the Japanese saw "heavily armored" the same way the Europeans did. Which is where we get Knights and their iron/steel armor. Which gives way to fiction having Dreadknights, Paladins, and Dragoons to be thought of having heavier armor than the Samurai.

I'm open to skill changes though. However I think their armor is fine. Maybe they could get alongside iron boots, the iron helmet or leggings. Otherwise they can stick to chainmail.

^^^ Well you see, samurai are the main type of warrior in any Japanese army, they are traditional even. the samurai wore only about 5 lbs. lighter than the standard knight from Europe which was around 135 lbs. chain mail is around 65 lbs. . Even putting things to MC's scale the samurai would still wear great armor, somewhere i agree with you though because some samurai's wore light armor 5mm thick iron or steel whereas normally its 8-12mm thick with decorations and possibly even thicker like 13-16 mm, the head piece was the only light one and possibly glove's they are a great asset to anyone owning one but yes i agree the armor might be a bit to op with my suggestions so the how bout chest piece an boots? can we agree to that?

Normally i'd suggest the chest and the leggings in that context because with the rest as chain mail it looks wrong XD however in this case you could enchant iron boots to improve stamina (i think? not entirely sure on that one) and if that's the case the movement increase will help the samaurai fit in better.

ohhh its absolutely alright! honest! then i would/may suggest bumping down some skills alot but some like relentless assault should be kept as is because that is balanced but say dual wield is nearly the same thing so take dual wield out<-- these are for example only

please learn Lists in BBcode they are very simple and make your posts legible by bringing attention to the points that matter for each section along with actually sectioning things off for easy scanning. Multicolored black-on-black and walloftext posts don't really get much more than a small glance and then ignored, just a tip ;)
