Sami/Ninja Bleed

Mmmmm, I think both Sami and Ninja have Katana's. Thus, both, cutting and slicing weapons. Something that comes to mind is putting in a passive chance move of bleed on both of these classes.

Ninja for sure. It has like no health, no armour and only hits 2 higher then a Sami. If ninja is the damage dealing class, I think it should be more damaging to make up for it's obviously fast self droppage (made that word up :D ). Now, true; Ninja's have smoke/ sneak to help them fight more "rogue-y" (stealth, but sneak is worthless half the time cause of the damn dynamic map.. ). But how does that help if you get in behind a Pally? Or Dragoon?.. Backstab seems to amount to absolutely nothing (I'd rather it be taken out and bleed put in). They can turn around and destroy you as a Ninja. They're armour and health, along with they're decent physical power, stomps; no matter how you go about it.

Sami's haven't gotten anything awesome in a while, and considering they DO wield a Katana, why not give it, as-well as whatever else uses one a Passive, chance bleed? Seriously, I've talked to quite a few and they think it's a solid idea that would work well.

Anyone's thoughts? This is all just my opinion, don't be hostile xD

P.S - Don't dis it cause it'll help us finally stand up to some of you :p

I think a passive bleed might be a bit much, but a bleed skill might work :3

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. There is a Bleed skill for Sami atm, but not for Ninja. Any other idea's that could work kinda like the idea I had? Or even anything of anything xD

If you knew what samurai was getting on the test server... i don't think you would even think about bleed. Atm samurai gets a skill that does more damage based on how low your enemy's mana is. If they have lower mana, you do more damage. Pretty sure thats gonna be be enough if not too much for sammy atm.

As for ninja... maybe a poison skill that is like way more vicious than the already there poison skill.

Festering poison - causes DoT damage seperate from normal poisons. Has a chance on damage to apply normal poison to the target as well. If cured, the person who cured the poison gets a normal poison applied to them.

It may not seem like much, but having 2 seperate poisons eatting at you at the same time is pretty vicious. That and it would take healers several curing attempts to wipe all the poison effects off the target and then themselves.

Mmmm, I haven't played the test server really. I've been just waiting for the updated Wiki. I like seeing exact stats/moves and such so I can plan out what would be best affective against my current enemies. Like you :p You seem to have it out for me, lolz ;). So in my eyes, when I'm looking for a class I'd typically be thinking about what class you'd have, what your strategies are and how you play. Along with my many other capable and seemingly many clever enemies.

So this post, really is an idea for how the game is now. In hopes that it can infact contribute to the future of HC in a positive way.

As for the poison idea, I like it, though it sounds something like bleed but with another name. The double poison idea is golden though, I actually really like the sound of that. Problem with poison is that it really only does damage to those running away, or so I find. If your standing still, you take nothing. A stronger ABlade, probably even double the strength I think is needed. That much is for sure, without even staying on the Bleed topic.

Btw, if you have an info on Sami/Ninja from 1.0 test server PM me :D I'd be quite interested in hearing about it.
