So yah, I had rei's mini map and was looking through the options. I noticed there is an option called "Show slime chunks" I dont know if that is exactly what is says because I cant get the mini map to work for some reason. In my opinion I think this should make the mini-map ILLEGAL. For it is giving an advantage to find slimes which give insane amount of exp, and an unfair advantage. I know this isnt a huge deal, but it's important and I don't think rei's should be allowed. I know some people are going to be like whats wrong with U?! If we dont get Zan's or Rei's we wont have any. All I can say is you can live without a mini map just use the paper and compass in game map. Thanks for reading this suggestion.-razael

Huh. I just looked at the MCforums.net topic for Rei's and it doesn't look like admins can disable/enable it remotely like they can for radar and cavemap.

Something else is that the paper+compass=map won't work,because it is used for Heroes, with the party system.

Isnt that only if you tupe /party gui?

No if you don't it will just display the heroes logo.

It is really buggy in SMP anyways, wierd lines drawn all over it and stuff.

Honestly, slimes chunks are not hard to find. If you mine in a straight line you at the right height you will find slimes. And if you clear out any large area underground you will more than likely find a slime chunk
