So, I know many people know about the whole boat bug and just haven't bothered to report it. If it has already been reported then I just haven't found the thread.
When a player right clicks to get into a boat everything starts out normal. It is when the player begins to ride the boat in the water where things get funky. Things appear normal for a bit when the player is riding but soon the player reaches a point where the world chunks aren't loading anymore and then the player begins to sink with the boat. If the player leaves the boat then they appear maybe 100 blocks back or a little ahead of where they started riding the boat. I noticed there are moments where the player thinks the boat is in a spot when it's really like 10 blocks in another direction away from where they think it is.
Using boats is difficult right now since I end up having to swim 500 blocks when my boat reaches the void and starts sinking. :I
I believe the issue is that world chunks aren't loading fast enough to keep up with the speed of the boat which leads to falling into the void.
Me once the chunk has loaded. (I eventually somehow was able to right click my boat and pop up to the surface)
