There have been restarts in the past - in the 2 years 9 months this server has been around, we have had 6 maps, including this one, Bastion. And so, we would just have the architect team work on a new spawn area, and play on that when it's released. The last reset was due to file loss, as it so happens.

Either way, Kain doesn't like talking about map wipes, so I wouldn't bring it up if I were you.

EDIT: And as LightningCape said, just because we lost power doesn't mean we lost data.

A while ago there was rollback on the server it was around five minutes. I was in spawn smelting gold. Right before the rollback I put the gold in the chest. The chest didn't rollback but my inventory did. I think rollbacks help players because many players got more stuff.
