Remembering Momma...

Hey all, back from visiting my family for my Mom's birthday. We shared the good times, a few laughs and tears and of course some cake. We all miss momma so much but here is some of what she left behind to give you an idea of the art my mother brought to the world before she left it...

We were all very moved by the occurrences of September 11th....

And the last Painting she finished before she passed away... She said she saw this in a dream before the cancer finally took her.

Wow, <3. My Godfather was on the 82nd floor of the 2nd tower. He saw the first plane hit and ran down 82 flights of stairs. That's some really impressive stuff you've got there.

Thanks for the comment, but you must be young. Pride is the exact reason they raise the flag during a disaster.. Pride to show they can knock us down but we get right back up...

Flags are not only for good times and celebrations, but serve as a reminder that even in dark times that we are united under one flag, and that we have something to be proud of, our country. Flags are a symbol of how powerful we, as a group, can be. They can knock us down, but just like we raise our flag, we will rise too! Get it? ;o
