Just wanted to make sure you guys knew about the latest patch notes, in case you missed it. One of the largest changes is the durability increase in armor. Armor is now 3 times stronger than it was before. So wear it! The roads around Shrine are mostly complete and the graveyards/spires will be set up soon!

Up next for Herocraft:
  • PvP Objectives in Haven
  • Township plugin re-release for Haven and Shrine
  • Arena server (with currency gain for both servers)
  • Shaman! (still in dev/testing)
... and numerous other things!

General Changes:
  • All 30 titles are now purchasable again on the store.
  • Updated style/theme of forums to work better with mobile devices.
  • Backpacks now function in Shrine -> Nether
  • Added PVP/PVE lines to the /motd
  • Mark/Recall skill have now been added for Shrine - they are now MarkPVE and RecallPVE respectively.
  • Added hotfix for /book to be a little more secure and less likely to flake. (Thanks @greatman321)
  • Fixed http://hc.to/vote to show the top-voters!
  • Added new Summon skills (Squid/Cat/Horse) renamed MooshroomCow to Mooshroom.
  • Added Summon Villager
  • Removed duplicate broadcasts on some skills.
  • Increase the durability of all armor by x3.
  • RechrageRunestone now requires 4 Eye of Enders to use (Technical Blocks cannot be placed in inventories as of 1.7.2/4)
Balance Changes
  • Mob special effects are greatly reduced in effectiveness and chance to activate.
  • Lostsoul and Crafter will master at level 20.

Classes
  • Bard - Add warmup to MelodicBindings (500ms)
  • Ninja - Removed Blackjack and replaced it with Garrote

Patch Notes for 1.7 Update:
  • There is a new server with a PVE Preferred named Shrine.
  • 5000R+ radius on AMPLIFIED terrain
  • There will be GY's for ease of use.
  • There will be PVP arena-type arenas for those who want to test their abilities/gear
  • There is a trade-district that players can buy shops at.
  • Classes and Souls will transfer but inventories/items do not.
  • The Soul Exchange is opened in the Trade District.
MIsc.
  • Horses have been enabled - the plugin is not yet fully functional but they should be ridable.
  • Haven has been increased to 4000R+
  • Hell (Nether) has been reset and regenerated to 2500R.
  • New Pets menu (use /pet menu)
  • New pets (Wither/Skeletons/WitherSkeleton/blueWitherskull/WitherSkull)
  • Level 10 and lower can now be pvp'd on Haven/Ruins
Known issues:
  • Class titles do not transfer between servers
  • Several areas need to be cleaned up in Shrine
  • Trade District will become available soon.
  • Horses may not functional 100%.

Which profession gained this and what is the cost/cooldown? It doesn't seem to be currently implemented though it's in the notes.
Haven't granted out just yet - there's a bit more testing i want to do first and maybe allow for choosing the "profession" of the villager.

Haven't granted out just yet - there's a bit more testing i want to do first and maybe allow for choosing the "profession" of the villager.

Perhaps have different regeants for different type of villager.

I still can't use horses, either ones in the wild or ones tamed by farmers. :(:(:(

I'm in Iceland currently without a PC so no dice.

garotte is basically a 2 second silence, duration doesnt seem to scale with any stat. Cant check on the cooldown / cost at the moment but it is basically an inferior kick that you have to hold string when you use. That said, i guess you can chain it and kick nearly back to back to back (kick, garotte, 3 seconds clear, kick) for some pretty heavy spell interruption.

I am guessing Wizards will be able to port to them as last map ?

And Druids, yes. Can also port to spawn, but that has already been in.
