Re-spawning

Hey guys, just wondering if when you die in HC, are you suppose to re spawn at your bed or at Zeal. I have never been able to re spawn in a bed I slept in, it says my bed was obstructed or destroyed.

Is this just me, or a game mechanic?

Try putting your bed in a more spacious area. Like without obstruction on its left and right sides. You SHOULD be spawning in your bed but even I have spawned in Zeal for the same reason.

Yeh if it sais your bed is obstructed then it means it tried to spawn you at a bed but something blocked the position. Usually happens if there are blocks directly to the right or left of your bed. Fix your bed location and it will work if done right.

Hm.. I tried it out, but still spawned at Zeal.
Does it matter if that bed is in a township?

It doesn't matter. I spawn in my town correctly. Is your bed in a room with a low celing?

Nope, at least 10 blocks high, room is probs 15x15 at least (its on the inside of my house, which is currently only exterior walls)

The only thing near the side of my bed are torches.

put your bed in a desert with only the open sky above you and nothing around you for miles, then work your way down to more confined spaces if your still having trouble

Light up the room putting torches elsewhere, don't have anything on the sides.
