If you change your MC name, any LWCs under your old name will be inaccessible, any town you are currently in will not recognize the name change and you will be in a way kicked from the town, and you may lose your money and class titles. Which problems are you facing? You can get reinvited to your town. Other issues, such as LWCs becoming inaccessible, you can put in a petition for assistance.

but if i were to unlock my lwc would i get the money back so i can relock them after my name is changed?

That is correct. Use the command /unlock rather than just breaking the chest.

well i found out that money is not affected and lwcs can be unlocked and will refund so you can re-lock under your new name
