So, just a basic quest list for all those people with questions out there. If you guys don't want people to have this, just lock up the thread. /ch h will have to do then

I will try to keep this updated (an hopefully the wiki) to try to keep it as accurate as possible (without giving away too much about the locations)

What Quests Are: Quests are an amazing part of Herocraft 4.0 in which you do various tasks for Hand-Programmed npc's. They reward you with combat exp and allow a nice way to level.

Notes: To get/finish quests, you may have to say yes.

Quest list:

The Lost Brother
Npc's Involved: Knight Edgar, Wounded Man, Ficsur
Location: Bastion Outskirts/Bastion
Difficulty: Average
Rewards: 500 combat exp

The Missing Cat
Npc's Involved: Barkeep Tim
Location: Bastion
Difficulty: Easy
Rewards: 225 combat exp

Mail Delivery
Npc's Involved: The Postman, Scribe Navti
Location: Bastion
Difficulty: Very Easy
Rewards: (Unknown) combat exp

Necromancer in Need
Npc's Involved: Gaulndax
Location: Bastion
Difficulty: Easy
Rewards: 240 combat exp

Lor's Task
Npc's Involved: Lor Lightcut
Location: Bastion
Difficulty: Average
Rewards: 255 combat exp

Iarbobray needs YOUR help! Iarbobray isn't online much, and needs YOUR information for keeping the quest list and wiki up to date! Bring in information regarding the following topics and you will be payed 5-10c (Unless you are a nice person and don't want the money). Minor contributions will not be payed.

Things in need of work and need of addition:

• Confirming rewards of the quests
• Getting Official Quest Names
• Grammar
• Tutorial Island Quests
• Prettiness
• Getting New Quests (possibly)

I don't know what you mean by that.

Kainzo has asked for a quests page to be added to the Wiki, including the basics on how to undertake quests and a couple of examples so ... @larbobray would you be so kind as to expand your intro for it to go into the Wiki? (If you get the material together, I can help get it into the Wiki, ok ? )

I would like to update the wiki, but I have no idea how. Plus some of these experience values are estimated and not known for sure.

EtKEnn quest = Bring EtKEnn 2 buckets of water for his farm.
Difficulty: Average.
Get 2 buckets of water, head back to spawn and deliver EtKEnn the buckets.
Reward: 10-20c

I have 56 buckets overall just from standing idle in spawn handing out quests with Keybinds xD

Well, basically telling people what to do.

@Kainzo mentioned having a couple of examples, so maybe what's in the Wiki (and in this thread) just needs to be scaled back a bit, eh? Quest FAQs should be answered, I'd say. Lord Kainzo, your ruling?

Well, we don't want to spoon feed players - these quests in the castle are considered the most basic and the most well known... more will ask to venture to other locations / towns.

I have an idea for a quest;
Name: Out of Tune
Difficulty: Average
The bard of bastion is doing a song tonight, but his lute is out of tune. He needs you to go bring him a pair of shears and 15 string.
Reward: 435exp, and 10c

Well, I just woke up. I have to do some things, but if you respond quickly enough I can remove the walkthroughs/tone them down. Thoughts?

Name, rewards, general location, and difficulty is fine. I'd rather not have the walkthrough and make people think about it. At least, I'd say a section for "other quest-related NPCs" would be okay, but not what to do.

Edited the main post and wiki to remove the walkthrough and materials list. Once I have some free time in roughly 11 hours I'll edit the thread to make it better. (Aka accurate exp and fixing the list of things to be done)
