Bug Pyromancer Darkbolt does nothing

Ok so pyyromancer darkbolt:
does no damage (initial hit or wither)
does not put user in combat
disappears when entity is hit

Still manages to take mana though

EDIT: works very infrequently
EDIT: works in arena when a whither skill is used, Does not work consistently when snowball is fired in rest of server

Here's what I tested out to some extent, not 100% sure.
- Doesn't work when it hits an entity, be it player or mob.
- Works when it hits a block.

I use this ability a ton. You are right, it doesn't work when you hit a mob, but it does work (and it works pretty well) if you hit a block. Not a huge deal, it would be great to be fixed though.
