  • Make towns so you can hit your townies. (reducing party sizes does nothing)
  • Remove clan regroup. (will ruin wizard, gtp and pvp)

Kainzo has already ripped out clan regroup (on live) but it is still on test. And he has already talked about removing the clan no-pvp.

so do you also want friendly fire always on for people in party? Or is the intent to make a 5 man party the only "friendly fire off" flag? just curious what the intent is.

Keep parties the same. My point is that reducing party size to five did nothing because you could have a 100 man group with a town you just wouldn't get buff's. Reducing party sizes does nothing and you know people are going to use this no pvp towns and clans to their advantage. It will turn the server into a numbers game requiring 0 skill.

I'm 90% sure parties were decreased simply for area of effect support skills. People in the same town or clan can't hurt each other but are also unable to give area of effect support buffs unless they are in a party.

But you don't have to worry about hurting them either

Hmm I quite like the new system, makes groupheals weaker. Cleric has been dominating in teamfights too long, and I fear it still will.

it definitely reduces the strength of support, but they are still incredibly strong in a 5 man group, just not quite so much as in a 10 man group

True, I don't care much myself. Just stating that 10 man parties weren't all that great either, when people are serious there are some OP combos etc.
